I can visualize and develop new programs and create accompanying curriculum to help your organization meet its goals. I am available to design and facilitate trainings.

My focus is on culturally rooted program design developed using my clients’ knowledge of the communities they serve. I have worked on programs that:

  • Build intergenerational community through shared transformational experiences in nature, both in urban and wild environments, from Lake Merritt to the Pacific Ocean

  • Engage youth and adults in actions to shape their local environment and build community power, through urban forestry, park advocacy, ocean stewardship, and performing arts.

I also lead outdoor explorations and skill building programs with offerings in ocean surfing, standup paddling, tide pooling, and hikes/naturalist programs throughout the Bay Area.

I am happy to share what I have learned via a long career working to build equity in the outdoors in a variety of spaces: including urban tree planting, green hip hop, community organizing around parks, outdoor education, and surfing.

I am an M.C., storyteller, and regular facilitator of group percussion and song. I am happy to incorporate these skills into any presentation I lead.
